Gargoyles Dance

…and Gargoyles dance upon rooftops

as echoes of laughter

crawl down the sidewalk

only to grip another stranger to the wall

of humanity

crawling, clawing

with nails

of emotional flesh

ripping through well built walls

of thick

organized confusion

masquerading as success

only to find truth

gargling

gargoyles

metamorphosing into angels of light

fly

off into clouds of pink dust

that embody

the great mass

of Love and absurdity

drop-pop-popping

raindrops of gold

that fall into eyes

opening open eyes

that are really

closed to the light of the monstrous void

striking the ground

only to turn

into bouncing super balls

up and down

randomly hitting those

who need to be woken

up to the inherent danger

of themselves
